The Mayor of Ferryhill, Councillor Dave Farry recently held a raffle to win a playstation 5, which was very kindly donated by Tarmac Quarry.
The draw took place on Thursday 7th October 2021 at an Awards Presentation Evening. The winning ticket was drawn by Mr Lawrence Petterson, who was at the awards evening to receive an award in recognition of 44 years dedicated service, providing legal support to the local community and businesses in Ferryhill.
The winner of the draw was Mrs Gillian Coates. Gillian and her husband, Eric, visited the Town Hall on Monday 25th October, to collect their prize.
The raffle raised £565, which will be added to the Mayors Charity Fund and divided between Chance Drama, Ferryhill Town Youth FC, Little Treasures, Mainsforth Cricket Club and The Rifles-Care for Casualties at the end of the Mayors year in office
