Ferryhill Town Council each year provides financial support towards the activities of local organisations and groups, who in turn help to provide community activities and facilities for the town.
The Town Council has recently reviewed its policy on awarding grants and donations to local groups. The Council will consider funding a project that:
a) Aims to make the local community a better place in which to live, work and visit.
b) Benefits the people who live in the Parish.
c) Can demonstrate that local people support the project and are involved in carrying it out.
There are two categories of grants available – a contribution of up to £200 towards the running costs of a project, and over £200 with no upper limit to help meet the costs of a more significant project.
