Great Turnout for Ferryhill Town Council’s ‘Bond’ Themed Fireworks Display
Ferryhill Town Council would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Town’s Fireworks Display at Dean Bank Recreation Park on Friday, 5th November. 1700 people attended the event, which really brought the community together after what has been a very difficult 18 months. The Town Council would especially like to thank Stanley Events for co-ordinating the event, which was choreographed to ‘Bond’ themed music, singers Teah McCafferty and Poppy & Charlie, who performed live on stage, DJ Keith Martin who compered the event, and everyone else who contributed towards ensuring that the Fireworks Display was a huge success.
A spokesperson for Ferryhill Town Council said ‘For several years residents of Ferryhill requested that the Town Council host its own Annual Fireworks Display. Having finally got their wish in 2018 and 2019 it is great to see the event return again this year, after the Council’s 2020 Display had to be cancelled due to Covid. It really was great to see so many people in attendance enjoying themselves. Stanley Events should be congratulated for putting on such a fantastic display.’
