Ferryhill Town Council would like to say a big thank you to Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC for the wonderful artwork created by its members through their Community Voice Art Project. The project, which was fully funded by Inclusion North and Bridge Creative enabled Endeavour to produce a series of artwork; with each piece being representative of the organisations taking part in the project, including Ferryhill Town Council.
Members of Endeavour visited the Town Hall recently to present their finished artwork, which has been given pride of place in the main reception area of the Town Hall, so that it can be viewed widely by residents and visitors.
Mayor, Councillor Curtis Bihari and Chair of the Council’s Events Committee, Councillor Carole Atkinson were on hand to take delivery of the artwork and praised the organisation, who provide a day service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, specialising in the art of woodwork.
