Road Closures and Temporary Bus Stops Ferryhill Christmas Fayre & Official Christmas Lights Switch On – Friday 28th November 2025
On Friday 28th November 2025 the following Road Closures and Temporary Bus Stops will be implemented to accommodate Ferryhill’s Annual Christmas Fayre and Official Christmas Lights Switch on:
Road Closures
- Market Street, Chapel Terrace (Part) and Church Road (Part) and the Unnamed Road between Market Street and North Street (in front of Ferryhill Town Hall) will be closed to all vehicles on Friday 28th November 2025, from 3.30pm – 5.30pm.
Temporary Bus Stops will be erected to facilitate the above road closures as follows :-
SERVICE 7 will pick up at outside B & M Stores enroute to Darlington and outside Bayleaf Restaurant for journeys to Durham.
SERVICE 56/56A and 8/8A will pick up outside Ferryhill Working Men’s Club for passengers travelling to Ferryhill Station/Mainsforth.
SERVICE 113 – will use the Temporary Bus Stop Opposite Ferryhill Working Men’s Club enroute to Bishop Middleham, Fishburn and Sedgefield.
