Ferryhill Town Council present Members Initiative Fund (MIF) Cheque to Ferryhill School
Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to benefit from the Council’s Members Initiative Fund is Ferryhill School, who recently attended a cheque presentation at Ferryhill Town Hall, where Councillors Kim Tinkler and Christine Woods presented a representative from the School, Leanne Harris, with a cheque for £300 from their MIF allocations.
Monies provided through the MIF Fund will be used to fund the purchase and printing of hoodies for children attending a forthcoming trip to Iceland as part of their Geography Studies.
Councillors Kim Tinkler and Christine Woods said ‘We are delighted to be able to support Ferryhill School with this project, which will provide an identifiable piece of clothing for children attending an important educational trip.’
