Ferryhill Town Council are pleased to invite residents to attend Ferryhill’s Annual Christmas Fayre and official Christmas Lights Switch on, which will be taking place on Friday 24th November 2023.
The Fayre will officially commence at 10.00am with a Christmas Market in the Market Place Car Park. The Market will be joined at 4.00pm by children’s show rides, catering vehicle and festive donkeys. At 4.15pm carol singing by children from local primary schools will take place in the Town Hall garden, which will be followed by the official switch on of the Town’s Christmas Lights at 4.30pm. The honour of switching on the Town’s lights this year will fall to a pupil from Dean Bank Primary & Nursery School.
The event this year will also include a Santa’s Grotto, free face painting and free children’s entertainment by Mr Windbags, which will take place inside Ferryhill Town Hall from 4.30pm – 6.00pm.
A huge thank you to County Councillors Peter Atkinson and Joe Quinn for contributing £600 from their Small Grants Budget via the 4Together Partnership towards the event.
