Parks & Grounds Operative
£22,737.00 to £23,114.00, SCP 3 – 4
37 hours per week
An opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our Parks and Grounds team.
Duties will include:
Grounds maintenance of parks and open spaces to include grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves and litter, clearing shrub beds, planting and pruning.
Setting out and marking of sports areas.
Use and maintenance of tools and equipment, including powered hand tools which includes pedestrian mowing equipment, strimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and ride on mowing equipment.
To work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
A driving licence is essential.
Full uniform, PPE and training will be provided.
