In a recent cheque presentation held at Ferryhill Town Hall, Councillor Bernie Lamb presented a cheque for £450 from his Members Initiative Fund (MIF) to Jeff Spooner from Ferryhill Rangers FC.
Funding will be used to enable the Football Club, who are based at the White Horse Pub and who play their matches at the Dean Bank A167 pitch, to purchase new training tops and equipment.
Councillor Lamb said ‘I am delighted to be able to support Ferryhill Rangers FC. MIF monies will enable the Club to purchase much needed training tops that will give the players a sense of identity, and also help purchase new equipment for use during matches and training sessions.’
