Ferryhill Town Council presents Members Initiative Fund Cheque to Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC
Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to benefit from funding through its Members Initiative Fund (MIF) is Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC, who were recently visited by Councillor Kath Conroy, who presented members of the organisation with a cheque for £225 from her MIF allocation.
Endeavour, who are a non-profit making organisation that offers a day service providing training and education for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, in the art of woodwork design and crafts, will be using the funds to purchase new work overalls for all of its service users.
Councillor Conroy said ‘I am delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile organisation. Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC provides an invaluable service for vulnerable people in Ferryhill, and I am only too happy to support them.’
