Ferryhill Town Council would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Summer Gala. The event proved hugely popular, with residents and visitors alike turning out in large numbers to enjoy the attractions on offer. The Town Council would like to say a special thank you to all stall holders, Turners Show Rides, Salus Medical, children’s entertainer Mr Windbags, face painter Dawn Belshaw, Exotic Animal Encounters and of course to everyone who came along to join in the fun of the fayre.
Mayor, Councillor Carole Atkinson said “It was great to see such a fantastic turn out at this year’s Summer Gala. The event, which has been running for 24 years has grown in popularity, and I am over the moon to have held a stall at the event, which managed to raise £153 in aid of my chosen charities for the year, Miners United Youth Football Club and 1st Ferryhill Scouts Group.
