Ferryhill Miners Utd Youth Football Club Receives Members Initiative Fund Cheque from Ferryhill Town Council
Ferryhill Miners Utd have become the latest group to benefit through Ferryhill Town Council’s Members Initiative Fund. Launched in April 2022, the Fund has now seen a total of £17,250 being donated to support local projects and initiatives.
In a presentation held at Ferryhill Sports & Education Centre, where the Club is based, Councillor Judith Donald presented representatives from the Football Club with a cheque for £350. Funds will be used to help cover the Club’s pitch line-marking fees for the year.
Councillor Donald said ‘I am delighted to be able to support Ferryhill Miners Utd Youth Football Club. The Club are doing a fantastic job providing grassroots football facilities and coaching for young people, and I am more than happy to contribute monies through my MIF allocation to help cover the Club’s line-marking costs.’
