Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to benefit from funding through its Members Initiative Fund is Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC, who recently attended a cheque presentation at Ferryhill Town Hall, where Councillor Kath Conroy presented a representative from the group with a cheque for £225 from her MIF allocation.
Endeavour, who are a non-profit making organisation that offers a day service providing training and education for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, in the art of woodwork design and crafts, used the funds to replace its damaged Fire Door ensuring the safety and security of its premises and service users.
Councillor Conroy said ‘I am delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile organisation. Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC provides an invaluable service for vulnerable people in Ferryhill, and I am only too happy to support them.’
