Now in its second year, Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to benefit from funding through its Members Initiative Fund is Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC, who recently attended a cheque presentation at Ferryhill Town Hall, where Councillors Carole Atkinson, Curtis Bihari and Joe Makepeace presented a representative from the group with a cheque for £525 from their MIF allocations.
Endeavour, who are a non-profit making organisation that offers a day service providing training and education for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, in the art of woodwork design and crafts, will use the monies donated, to provide much needed laptops for service users benefit.
Councillors Atkinson, Bihari and Makepeace said ‘We are delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile organisation. Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC provides an invaluable service for vulnerable people in Ferryhill, and we are only too happy to support them.’
