Yesterday Ferryhill Town Council announced that the Winner of the Traders Jubilee Window Display Competition, was Shell’s Village Bakery. The winner attended Ferryhill Town Hall for a Presentation with the Mayor, Councillor Carole Atkinson, and Chair of the Events Committee, Councillor Joe Quinn, who presented the worthy winner with a certificate and trophy in recognition of her fantastic display. The winner will also receive a free hanging basket.Today Ferryhill’s Mayor, Councillor Carole Atkinson visited each trader who participated in the competition and worked really hard to decorate their premises in Jubilee themed memorabilia, to present each entrant with a framed certificate. A big well done to everyone who took part in the competition and really got into the spirit of the occasion.
