With Covid restrictions starting to lift, Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that preparations are underway for this year’s Annual Summer Gala, which has been scheduled to take place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August 2021.
As part of the two day event, the organisers would like to invite local bands to perform live on stage, during the afternoon of Sunday 8th August, to showcase their talent. The event, which will be held in Ferryhill Town Centre, will also include show rides, stalls, face painting and children’s entertainment. Anyone interested in performing on stage is asked to contact Karen Younghusband at Ferryhill Town Hall on telephone 01740 652157 or email kyounghusband@ferryhill.gov.uk as soon as possible, to secure a timeslot.
All performances must be appropriate for family audiences.
While all arrangements being made for this event anticipate that Covid restrictions will continue to be lifted, Government Guidance will continue to be monitored, to ensure that the event can proceed safely, and in accordance with restrictions in place at the time of the event.
